What are the sassy origins of such a phrase? Let’s take it back to the 90s.
It was once said that Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was quite fond of the LGBT community and even roamed around his hometown spraypainting ‘God is Gay’ as a teenager. The legendary grunger would often refer to himself as ‘gay in spirit’ and even made out with his bassist on live television. Such a personality epitomised what the gay rights movement was all about, and so does our sardonic take on the slogan. Allriot tee features large multicoloured front print and is a spot-on conversation starter.
