ACTIVIST T-SHIRTS

Henry David Thoreau, the authority on civil disobedience, once said, “If a plant cannot live according to its nature, it dies, and so does a man.” It’s completely true, and doesn’t simply stop there. It leads to the death of entire civilizations when citizens refuse to stand up for what they believe is important. It is certain that the spineless do not preserve our basic freedoms, nor do the violent. When we meet in the middle between these two extremes, we find that our resistance to tyranny is what keeps our world afloat. Only when the majority of society remains conscious of its oppression can they move with the momentum to overthrow their oppressors, and even though the advancement of technology and political science has only made it more difficult to do this, we will nevertheless answer the call and inspire change with a social justice tee.
Whether our enemies write our laws in board rooms or parliaments, use criminal police and corrupt judges, and spread a brand of corporate authoritarianism under the gloss of nationalist democracy, we will resist because we remain aware.
