The enigma known as Malcolm X, or el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, became one of America’s most prolific – and controversial – champions for human rights. After overcoming a life of crime, he became the central figurehead in the Nation of Islam as their committed voice to the struggle against America’s apartheid system.

Even after his break from the NOI, pilgrimage to Mecca, and conversion to Sunni Islam, he rejected nonviolence in favour of the self-defence of African-Americans. Malcolm X helped move the African-American struggle from civil rights to human rights. Celebrate his legacy with this graphic tee. Black Malcolm X shirt features large graphic of the original X-Man, in memory of his uncompromising belief in the right to self-determination.
